Challenges & Objectives

  • Detail Hallucination: In one shot, Darth Vader’s chest box might have red and blue buttons; in the next, they might be green and silver. His helmet geometry might shift slightly from the sharp Empire Strikes Back look to the wider A New Hope look.
  • Material Confusion: You are blending “Hard Surface” (the helmet/armor) with “Soft Fabrics” (the cardigan/apron). AI models often struggle with this border, sometimes accidentally making the helmet look “knitted” or the cardigan look like plastic armor.

/ Objectives

  • Visual Continuity: The goal is to ensure that Darth Vader in the kitchen looks identical to the Vader in the park. The audience must believe this is the same character moving through a day, not a series of different cosplayers.

  • Texture Isolation: Successfully prompting the AI to render the helmet as hyper-glossy plastic/metal while simultaneously rendering the cardigan as fuzzy, matte wool within the same coherent lighting environment.

  • In Nano Banana Pro: Use a “Seed” or “Character Reference” feature if available. If not, use a “Base Prompt” that describes his armor specifically (e.g., “glossy black samurai-inspired helmet, triangular breathing grill, silver chest box with red and blue slots”) and paste this exact description into every prompt before adding the new scenario.

  • In VEO3: When animating, use “Region of Interest” masking if possible. Tell the AI to animate the environment (rain, pigeons, steam) but keep the helmet relatively static to prevent the geometry from warping or “melting” during movement.
